No. WiLan operates entirely over your local Wi-Fi network (LAN) or hotspot. It uses 0 bytes of your internet data package.
Is there a file size limit?
Absolutely no limits. You can transfer anything from a 10KB text file to a 500GB video archive. Speeds and limits depend purely on your local router and device storage capabilities.
Are my files uploaded to any cloud servers?
Never. WiLan is completely local and peer-to-peer. We do not have cloud servers, and we don't store or see your data. Everything stays on your devices.
Why do I need to approve devices?
To ensure security. When you host a session, nobody can join your lobby or see your files unless you explicitly approve their join request. Once the lobby is locked, the room is sealed against new requests.
